TOKYO, October 25, 2023 - Mitsubishi Electric Corporation (TOKYO: 6503) announced today that it will invest some 22 billion yen to construct a total of eight new production buildings at its Kamakura Works (Kamakura City, Kanagawa Prefecture), Koriyama Factory (Koriyama City, Fukushima Prefecture), and Electronics and Communication Systems Center (Amagasaki City, Hyogo Prefecture) in support of the Japanese government's Defense Buildup Plan. Construction will be completed sequentially from April 2025.
