Electrical Power Subsystem (EPS) Components
Our EPS components have built a track record through more than 20 mission in GEO of Japanese government and commercial programs as part of our standard bus, DS2000. No anomaly has been reported through all of those programs.
Our DS2000 EPS comprises:
- Power Control Unit (PCU)
- Battery Interface Module (BIM)
- Power Distribution Control Unit (PDCU)
- Ordnance Device Controller (ODC)
- Unified Drive Electronics (UDE)
Features and Functions:
- Providing regulated 100VDC as main bus and regulated 34VDC(or 28VDC) as secondary bus.
- Supplying power to payload and bus up to 12.5kW.
- Providing a complete set of functions for GEO satellites such as:
- Power distribution with fuses or current limiters.
- Functions for deploying and rotating solar array wings.
- Battery monitoring functions.
