SLIMDIP

Small-capacity package ideal for low-cost inverters

This contributes to the simplification of inverter PCB design and downsizing of home electric appliances such as air conditioning, washing machines, and refrigerators — all of which are becoming increasing high-functional and high-performance.

Features

  • 30% smaller package size compared with Super Mini DIPIPM™, due to being equipped with an RC-IGBT*1 which implements the thin wafer structure of 7th generation IGBT
  • A built-in control IC with protection functions and a BSD*2 with a current limiting resistor reduces the number of external components
  • Adding a new GND terminal for the high-voltage side drive power supply simplifies the high-voltage terminal pattern on the PCB, thus contributing to downsizing and simplification of system design.
  • The maximum guaranteed case temperature has been expanded to 115℃ for greater flexibility in heat dissipation design
  • In addition to an over-temperature protection function that automatically protects against temperature rise, a temperature output function that outputs the temperature of the control IC section as an analog signal improves the degree of freedom in temperature protection design.
  • ※1:Reverse Conducting IGBT: A reverse conducting IGBT with a built-in free-wheeling diode and 1 chip
  • ※2:Bootstap Diode
