High voltage level-shifting IC
High voltage integrated circuit (HVIC) directly drives IGBT or MOSFET gates using input signals from a CPU. High voltage level shifting eliminates the need for pulse transformers and photo-isolators. Since various protection functions (protection against under voltage of power supply, interlock, input signal filter, error output) are built into the IC, equipment reliability can be enhanced. The lineup includes numerous half-bridge type products that are commonly seen in drive circuits. And they are compliant with the Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment (RoHS) directive 2011/65/EU, 2015/863/EU.
