The Art of Manufacturing – monozukuri
“Energy special”
Energy saving is in Mitsubishi Electric’s DNA.
As you know, Mitsubishi Electric originates from Japan, a country which no longer has any natural resources like oil and gas etc. Generating energy from expensive imported LP gas or new renewable sources with their inherent instability of supply has nurtured a focus on energy saving to every aspect of daily life.
That also includes manufacturing where energy can have a big impact on production costs. So you can imagine, any solution developed in Japan is likely to be well thought out. Please read on to learn more about how we approach this and to hear how one company uses energy to manage the safety of its 40 plus year old plant.
