Talented future engineers step-up to the Brazilian MECA challenge

Summary

On November 7, and 8, the final of the Brazilian Mitsubishi Electric Cup Automation contest (MECA) was held in São Paulo, where engineering students from all over Brazil came together to present their ideas and technologies. This was the first time the event was held in Brazil and applications from more than 60 educational institutions across the country were received. As a result of rigorous internal pre-competition judging, 14 teams separated into two categories of, Technical college’s (five teams) and Universities (nine teams), were selected to take part in the final.
