SaaS Platform: OCTOBUS

OCTOBUS is an Industry IoT Platform running as Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) or On-Premise. It collects machine and sensor data from PLC's connected to an Edge device as well as from commercial sensor networks like Sigfox and LoRa, and transforms and sends the data to the Cloud. OCTOBUS is industry agnostic.

It runs as an information system in Solar Industry, Aqua Farming, Food & Beverage Industry as well as in all other industries where data can be collected from PLC's. It offers different visualization methods like dynamic dashboards and isometric views, an event engine for notifications, process activation and predictive maintenance. It is available for mobile platforms too so that data is available anytime, anywhere.

Interoperability of different Sensors

Companies use different sensors from different manufacturers and need for every manufacturer an own application to get access to their data. OCTOBUS makes it possible to use only one platform for receiving and transforming data from different sources into one IIoT platform.

OCTOBUS supports PLC/Field devices, Sigfox, LoRa, Open API and it is possible to import data from csv files.

OCTOBUS is used by the customer as

- APAC Operations Centre: Monitoring and controlling all sold machinery in customer factories, alerting and notification centre

- After Sales System: automated ordering system for spare parts depending on PLC information and performance data

- Customer Monitoring: Every customer gets access to their own assets for performance monitoring and process optimization, analytics, alerting and notification
