Circuit Breakers for Distribution Panel and Control PanelFA/FAU/FHU Series
FA/FAU Series
Features
01
- External dimensions are identical for both molded case and earth leakage circuit breakers. (The NV-FAU three-phase breaker with earth leakage protection also has identical external dimensions.)
- The 30A and 50A frame models also have identical external dimensions.
- 2-pole and 3-pole products are available.
02
- The vertical dimension of the circuit breaker is consistent with the vertical dimension of the socket for miniature relays at 72mm.
- Can be mounted side-by-side with miniature relays, electromagnetic contactors, etc. between the same ducts, which eliminates wasted space.
03
- The terminal structure allows for back-side wiring.
- Terminal covers (RTC) for surface plate mounting are available. These covers can be used for safeguarding against electric shock when wiring on the back side.
04
- Surface plate mounting is possible, eliminating the need to tighten nuts from the rear. (Use M5 x 0.8 x 30 screws.)

FHU Series
Features
01
- The FHU is a high breaking capacity product of the FA series with JIS-compliant modular dimensions that can handle up to 100A of rated current.
- Molded case circuit breakers and molded case circuit breakers with earth leakage protection have identical external dimensions.
(The NV-FHU three-phase molded case circuit breaker with earth leakage protection also has identical external dimensions.) - 2-pole and 3-pole products are available.
(The NF100-FHU and NV100-FHU are only available as 3-pole products.)
02
- Motor circuit protection characteristics are standard. Rated current for motor protection is set for NF50-FHU and NV50-FHU models.
- We also offer large terminal covers.

Common Features of the FA and FHU Series
DIN rail mounting is possible
Mountable on an IEC 35mm rail (DIN rail) as standard.
A handle lock device can be manufactured
A padlockable handle lock device (HL) can also be manufactured. This device locks the circuit breaker in the on or off state, and even when locked to on, the circuit breaker will trip if exposed to overcurrent.
