Environmental Conservation Culture and Arts, Sports Developing Next-Generation Artists, Preserving the Formosan Sika Deer

Since 2012, Mitsubishi Electric Taiwan Co., Ltd. began to contribute to preserving the indigenous Formosan Sika deer (a designated endangered species), and our efforts were officially commended by the city of Taipei in 2016.

In 2016, we also started to cooperate with the Affiliated Senior High School of National Taiwan Normal University to support the cultivation of the next-generation artists.

Combining both of these initiatives, in August an event was held at the Taipei City Zoo to introduce high school students to the habitat and health characteristics of Sika deer. At the same time, it gave them the opportunity to draw paintings of the animals.
