The Train Operation Plan Supporting System (hereinafter referred
to as TOPSS) supports the transportation planning that includes the run
curve preparation, the diagram preparation, and the rolling stock and
crewmember scheduling.
The TOPSS allows you to make plans with supposed facilities and conditions.
Not only the high-speed and high-density short term train operation planning
but also the long-term planning such as route expansion is effectively
devisable. When the facilities should be modified, the new diagram that
conforms to the modified facilities shall be prepared. The new diagram
is prepared on the basis of the existing diagram with only the necessary
modification. The efficiency of the reviewing of new diagram shall be
improved.
The TOPSS has not only enhanced the planning efficiency of the system
but also realized substantial labor-savings such as form preparation.
Results to be stored in the electronic file shall produce various developments. |
