Brief Overview

February 1, 2011 marked Mitsubishi Electric's 90th anniversary. On this occasion, a message from the President to all employees discussed the future direction of the Mitsubishi Electric Group as it looks toward its 100th anniversary in 2021, focusing on such themes as society, technology, global business and the environment. A variety of communications activities are planned for the year. As a first step, on February 2, a series of 90th anniversary advertisements were run in the Asahi Shimbun newspaper across Japan, including a 2-page spread in Asahi's national edition. The headline, " becoming a global, leading green company, enriching society with technology" outlines the Group's goal for the next decade.
