Forward looking camera is a sensor for safety driving assist system.
Various applications such as lane recognition, detection of proceeding car and oncoming car for light distribution control of headlights, vehicle detection, pedestrian detection, sign recognition etc. are realized.
These results can be used for warning and avoidance control against lane departure and collision with forward obstacles.
